gender neutral garden theme baby shower

Last weekend the women in my family hosted a sweet soiree to celebrate baby Zitzer. From the very beginning, starting with the gorgeous invitation by Mikel Clair Hardin for Minted, everything was perfect. It was held at the beautiful Reel Club – one of our favorite nearby restaurants. The feeling of the shower was light and bright with lots of whites, natural wood and lush greenery. Perfect for a party in the middle of the summer. All of the wonderful women in our lives showered us with thoughtful and functional gifts for baby. From gorgeous handmade quilts made by my mother-in-law to dozens of books to jumpstart the little one’s library. I was completely blown away by the love and well wishes this babe received.
It was such a special gathering, and I couldn’t be more grateful to my sister and sister-in-laws for hosting such a lovely event in my honor. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by so many amazing, thoughtful people who care so much about our bundle of joy. Each guest took home a little succulent favor, and I went home with flowers, photos, leftover cake and some beautiful memories!
